Below are some poor attempts at painting and drawing influenced by Henri Matisse, Joan Eardley, Norman Cornish and Valeriane Leblond:
Norman Cornish painted Durham miners and scenes from the northeast of England. Joan Eardley painted mainly children from the tenements of Glasgow. Matisse painted women (with exceptions) seated by windows in sunny rooms somewhere on the Mediterranean.
